Hello! For those that don't already know, I'm Jo aka JAG of (previously) JAG's Fitness Blog. I started blogging back in 2008 when I started on a weight loss journey and documented the ups and downs of my diet and exercise regime. At the time I started to blog, I had no idea that anyone would be remotely interested in anything I had to say. However, I built up quite a loyal following, many of whom I still call friends today.
I'm back in 2016 with a fresh new blog, which I hope to keep updated on a regular basis. Though the focus of my blog will always be about diet and fitness, I will also blog about other lifestyle topics that interest me such as beauty (skin care, makeup, hair care), fashion, health, music, books, etc. I'm even trying to pluck up the courage to delve into the world of vlogging but I genuinely don't think I could bare to hear my voice played back to me!
A bit more about me:
I'm 38, I live in Swansea with my fiancé, I have a 19 year old boy and I work in the NHS.
Being active is my passion and I love weightlifting, walking along the beach, yoga, rollerblading along the prom, cycling and just being outside at one with nature. I'm quite a spiritual person and have always been drawn to the ocean, which is why I always knew that one day I would live by the beach. I love to read tarot for myself and have dabbled in the past with energy manipulation in order to get something that I really want!
I'm obsessed with music and books and couldn't imagine my life without the pleasure of either in it. My tastes in both arts is totally eclectic and I couldn't pick any single genre that I prefer over another.
Some of my favourite artists are The Beatles, Marina & The Diamonds, No Doubt, Metallica, ELO, Babyshambles, Nightwish and Madness.
I don't watch much TV but do like to watch Netflix on occasion and love shows such as Orange is the New Black, Pretty Little Liars, Wentworth and Breaking Bad.
I got engaged on 31st October 2015 which is an important date in the Pagan calendar, which is why my fiancé specifically chose it. We don't have any dates or plans for getting married just yet, but we both know it will be on a beach somewhere beautiful.
